Disclaimer — affiliate consent page (TEST TEMPLATE)
⚠ TEST TEMPLATE — not legally reviewed. Pending the legal adviser’s review before production. Not legal advice.
What this surface is
The affiliate consent page is the
public, unauthenticated, server-rendered route under apps/api
where an affiliate can review the visibility-level entry the issuer (or Seldon Trevize, or
both) has recorded about them and can confirm or withdraw the affiliate’s consent to that
entry per ADR-0021. No wallet is needed to use this page; the affiliate signs the
confirmation / withdrawal with their wallet only if they have one.
What the consent record contains
For the affiliate’s entry, the page shows:
- The issuer (and the staff wallet) that recorded the entry.
- The current visibility level (issuer-private / library / yellow pages).
- The marketing assets stored (if any): logo, blurb, links, payout reference.
- The consent timestamp, the consent method (issuer-entered vs. affiliate-confirmed) and the audit trail of past visibility changes.
- The withdrawal method (the affiliate can reduce visibility or remove the entry entirely from this very page; the change records the affiliate’s wallet address and the timestamp).
Who is responsible for what
| Component | Affiliate (responsible) | Issuer (responsible) | Seldon Trevize (responsible) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Withdraw or reduce visibility from this page | yes | — | yes (this page runs) |
| Confirm or contest an entry the affiliate did not initiate | yes | yes (must cooperate with the correction) | yes (this page runs) |
| Privacy policy of the entry | — | — | yes (the platform-wide library) |
What users can rely on
- The consent record is factual: it tells the affiliate what is stored, who stored it, when, and why.
-
Withdrawal of consent takes effect within the next 14 days, unless the
affiliate is a partner whose per-tranche terms are already on the contract — in that case
the entry remains tied to the contract records until the contract clears it, with the
on-chain
setPartnerstate intact. -
The affiliate can
request a controller/processor clarification
(
controller@seldon-trevize.com).
What users cannot rely on
- This page is not a legal-action venue; disputes are handled by the contractual parties’ chosen channels.
- This page does not transfer funds, set on-chain state, or amend on-chain per-tranche terms. Those happen in the issuer backoffice.
